The violin made in 2002 is my inspiration of Guarneri del Gesu's violin "Il Cannone" from 1742.
After seeying and hearing Guarneri's masterpiece, I decided to build a violin based on such a famous model.

The viola is my own model with sculptured head of the mythological Perseus, who was the first of the mythic heroes of Greek mythology.
The wood used on top is old Italian spruce, on the back and ribs is old piece of cremonese dark poplar. The lenght of body is 416 mm.
